"TorqueShield" is a rolling body pocket-type torque cutoff device. It interrupts excessive torque generated in the device due to collisions, jamming, etc., protecting the device while enabling rapid detection of abnormalities. When the torque exceeds a specified level, the rolling body pressed by a spring disengages from the groove, cutting off the torque. The cutoff torque can be arbitrarily set using an adjustment nut for the spring.
